It has come to our attention that there are a lot of Maxis Fibre customers out there that are facing trouble accessing Twitter. While the full extent of the issue is not yet known for the time being, it appears that some customers have been experiencing difficulties accessing the popular social media network since late last week.
While this sounds rather ironic, you can view the collection of the complaints when you search for “Maxis Twitter” through Twitter itself:
Some users pointed out that changing to an alternative DNS address would solve their issue. For some, they managed to connect back to Twitter by restarting their router but there were also other users who still not able to access the social media network after trying these methods and was forced to either utilize VPN or connect to mobile providers to get back on Twitter.
Through these tweets, some customers also revealed that they can’t access other websites such as Maybank2u and Shopee through Maxis Fibre too:
@MaxisListens Hello maxis, i cant load my twitter, maybank2u, outlook and a few link website that is important cause it related to my working things when im using maxis fibre. Please check and do something about it. Its been a few days already.

We have reached to Maxis regarding this but so far, the company has nothing to update at this moment. However, one of the responses by the telco’s customer service on Twitter did revealed that Maxis is already aware of the issue with Twitter.
[1] Hi, we are aware of the Twitter issue and our team is working diligently to solve the issue as soon as possible.
